28th Avenue Dance Studio Celebrates their 26th Annual Recital

Torrington, WY (by Taylor Bartel) May 6th, 2024 — 220 dancers showcased their talents, art, choreography, music, costumes and lighting on stage at the end of April. The studio’s recital was held both Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th at the Eastern Wyoming College’s Fine Arts Auditorium. Students were able to return to the studio the week following the performances for a ‘Celebration Week!’ Students received certificates, cake pops from The Java Jar, danced and enjoyed games throughout the week. We enjoyed a fantastic dance season full of learning, discovering, growing, improving, performing and competing! The studio recently held Company Stars Auditions for ages 6-18. There were 39 dancers that auditioned for the new competition season. If you were unable to attend the Company Stars Auditions and are still interested in competing with the 28th Avenue Dance Studio next season, please let us know!

We have a great list of summer options for you or your dancer(s)… no need to wait until the fall to sign-up! Our yearly Adult Program includes Tap, Ballet and Jazz. This summer, Kathleen Snarr will help you learn the beauty of ballet and the energy of jazz. Whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned dancer, you will experience firsthand the positive impact dance can have on your fitness and social life.

Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor, Taylor Bartel will be focusing on Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering, and Tumbling for youth. Stay strong this summer in AcroDance Levels 1&2 or 3&4.
