Torrington, WY (Colyer Funeral Home) March 25th, 2024 — A celebration of life for GLORIA ANN REICHERT, 87, will be held and announced at a later date. Gloria passed away peacefully March 18, 2024, at Torrington Community Hospital and cremation has taken place. Gloria was born May 22, 1936, in Morrill County, Nebraska to Davit and Olga Schaffer. She went to school and graduated from Bayard High School. After graduating she worked at the telephone office in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Later in life she would work on the farm with her husband. She married Henry Reichert July 26, 1959, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. To this union they had three sons Fred, Jerry and Ron. She enjoyed gardening and she was known for her amazing cooking skills, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Gloria is survived by her husband Henry of Torrington; sons Fred (Laurie) Reichert of Torrington, Jerry (Pam) Reichert of Torrington, Ron (Sandi) Reichert of Wheatland. Five grandchildren; Sarah, Matthew, Joshua, Ryan and Ryland. Three sisters; Elsie, Esther (Jerry) and Jeannie (Ronald) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Les, Dave, Elmer, Ralph and baby brother Elmer and sister Olga, as well as many cousins.
Private family services will be held at a later date for CAROLE JEAN SIMONSEN COXBILL, 78, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the Goshen Healthcare Community. Cremation has taken place. Carole was born January 15, 1946 in Tilden, Nebraska the daughter of Arnold and Willavie Simonsen. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Carole is survived by a son Jay (Carol) Watson of Torrington, Wyoming; sisters Linda Erdman, Patty (Gary) Miller and Kay Lindenmuth; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Dale Allen Watson; brother Jerry Simonsen and wife Vaughn Simonsen; and her late husband Emmett Coxbill.
