No services are planned at this time for NANCY DIANA PETREE, 75, who passed away at Torrington Community Hospital on October 1, 2023. Nancy was born June 26, 1948 in Canadian, Texas. Cremation has taken place and Colyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

No services are planned at this time for JOAN BEVERLY STAUBER, 94, who passed away October 1, 2023 at Goshen Healthcare Community. Joan was born February 24, 1929 in Copley, Ohio. Cremation has taken place and Colyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for PAUL EDWARD MARTINEZ, 53, will be held at 2pm Friday, October 13, 2023 at Sonrise Church with Pastor Cody Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Paul died at Community Hospital October 9, 2023. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the family to be decided on at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday from 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home and the casket will be open prior to the service at the church. Paul was born on August 9, 1970 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He graduated from Fort Lupton, Colorado and attended Eastern Wyoming College. He worked for the City of Torrington Streets and Sanitation for the last thirteen years. Prior to that he worked at Martinez Hay Grinding and D R Horton in Colorado. Paul was very active in the community and Elks Club. He was the local director for the Elks Hoop Shoot. His hobbies included golfing, singing and hanging out with all his great friends. He always thought his jokes were funnier than anyone else did. Paul married Lorenda (Wendy) Mark on July 31, 2010.

Paul is survived by his wife; stepson Dustan (Airian) Mark of Casper; stepdaughter Heather (Trevor) Ojeda of Torrington; grandchildren Berkleigh Mark of Guernsey; Jazzmyn Demos and Atlas Mark of Casper; mother Norma and stepfather Rick Drury of Brighton, Colorado; his father Edwin Otero of Sunnydale, California and step grandmother Betty Davenport. Paul was one of twelve children from Emma and Lucio Martinez. He is survived by his brothers Ernesto (Renee), George (Lisa), Arthur (Nancy), Dan, and Mike (Cora); sisters Melba, Guadalupe (Phil), Diane (Harvie) and Wyoma; brother-in-law David; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by Lucio, Emma, sister Olga, Christopher, Emma and father-in-law Harley Mark.
