Torrington, WY October 19, 2023 — There’s a plethora of playoff scenarios across the state this week as high school football teams prepare for their final game of the regular season.

Class 2A

The Torrington Trailblazers (5-3) already know they’ll host a playoff game at Wiseman field in the first round of the playoffs.

The Blazers will play host to one of these three teams from the West:

Cokeville (5-2)
Lovell (5-2)
Lyman (6-2)

Torrington will try to end their season on a high note as they host the Newcastle Dogies (2-5) tomorrow night (Oct. 20th) @ 6:00

Class 1A 9-man

Lingle-Ft.Laramie, Pine Bluffs, Southeast and Lusk are all locked in for 1A 9-man postseason football, however, LFL is the only team to own the 1 seed from the East.

Pine Bluffs 2 seed with:
– WIN over Southeast
– or LOSS to Southeast by 4 points or less AND Lusk win over Wright

Pine Bluffs 3 seed with:
– LOSS to Southeast

Southeast 2 seed with:
– WIN over Pine Bluffs AND Lusk Loss
– WIN over Pine Bluffs by 5 points or more AND Lusk win over Wright

Southeast 4 seed with:
– LOSS to Pine Bluffs
– LOSS to Pine Bluffs by 4 points or less AND Lusk win

Lusk 3 seed with:
– WIN over Wright AND Southeast loss to Pine Bluffs
– LOSS to Wright AND Southeast loss to Pine Bluffs

Lusk 4 seed with:
-LOSS to Wright
