Guernsey, WY December 1st, 2023 — Guernsey State Park is inviting everyone to First Day Hikes at the Guernsey State Park on January 1, 2024. Join Guernsey State Park for a guided hike through history walk. Meet at the parking lot on the east side of the walking path of Lucinda Rollins Road and South Guernsey Hwy.

The hike is 2.5 miles on easy terrain. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided.

First Day Hikes are part of a nationwide initiative led by America’s State Parks to encourage people to get outdoors. The distance and rigor vary from park to park, but all hikes aim to create a fun experience for the whole family.

Participants at each location can enter to win a 2024 Annual Day-Use Certificate and a Statewide Grand Prize Drawing.
