Gone Fishing

Glendo, WY May 23rd, 2024 — 5th grade students from Trail Elementary took a field trip to Glendo State Park for an end of the year outing. Students fished for walleye on May 16th and May 22nd. The kids were able to learn about fishing and nature from their teachers and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

The Game and Fish Department and other volunteers were able to provide boats for the kids to fish from. Although the young anglers were unable to get a bite on the 22nd,  Madison Koeteman and her grandpa, Bruce Nepper hauled in a very nice walleye!
