Goshen County Grads and CSC Track & Field Members Greg Logsdon, Ryan Clapper Place at 2024 RMAC Indoor Track Championships

Spearfish, SD (RELEASE) February 26th, 2024 — Three members of the Chadron State College men’s track and field team from eastern Wyoming placed at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Indoor Meet this past weekend.

Redshirt freshman Ryan Clapper of Veteran was third in the 200 meters in 22.00 seconds, senior Greg Logsdon of Torrington was seventh in the 400 meters in 51.17 seconds and senior Alec Penfield of Lusk was seventh in the high jump by clearing 6-foot-6 ¾.

In addition, Logsdon anchored the Eagles’ 4×400 relay team that placed third in 3:25.31.

Both Clapper and Logsdon are graduates of Southeast High School at Yoder.   Both ran their races a trifle faster during the preliminaries than they did in the finals. Clapper ran the 200 prelims in 21.96 and Logsdon’s first time was 50.38 seconds.
