Guadalupe Society Serves Up 350 Dozen Enchiladas

Torrington, WY February 11th, 2024 — The Guadalupe Society of Torrington hosted its annual enchilada sale on Saturday, February 10th. The Guadalupe Society has been serving up enchiladas for 20 years, raising funds for church functions, funeral dinners, scholarships and more.

This year, volunteers worked together to serve up 350 dozen enchiladas – that’s 4,200 enchiladas!

Our Lady of Guadalupe Society is a social justice ministry, whose members strive to unite persons in the spiritual devotion of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas.

Through fundraising and private donations, Our Lady of Guadalupe Society has been able to:
– Prepare and participate in celebrating the Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe
– Visit the sick and home bound
– Administer the Arnold Quinonez Memorial Scholarship fund for college bound youth
– Support community youth activities
– Provide fellowship, support and nourishment to bereaved families

Meetings are held monthly, on the second Sunday of the month, during the months of September-May, at 10:00 a.m., in the St. Rose Parish Hall meeting room.
