Torrington, WY September 11, 2023 — Goshen County Public Health is keeping an eye on COVID and West Nile Virus cases in Goshen County.

10 COVID positive tested cases were identified last week. Two individuals have been hospitalized for symptoms. 253 COVID cases have been reported across Wyoming.

Goshen County Public Health reminds residents to take precautions if traveling to other places in the state.

There have also been two cases of West Nile Virus discovered in the county. Residents should take precautions when going outdoors. Remember to avoid mosquito infested areas, use protective clothing, and apply bug spray before going outside.
