Torrington, WY December 15th, 2023 — $1,000 worth of Santa Bucks was awarded to local Torrington woman, Jenna Firkins, today.
Each year, Kath Broadcasting and several local businesses team up to give Goshen County residents a chance to win $1,000 worth of Santa Bucks. For every $10 spent at a participating business, the customer receives a raffle ticket that is put into the drawing. The winner of the grand prize is able to spend their Santa Bucks at any of the participating businesses. This year’s businesses included:
- Century Lumber
- Torrington Office Supply
- Heartland Embroidery
- Leithead’s Appliance Center
- Bloedorn Lumber
- Main Street Market
- Bluebird Boutique
Not only does the Santa Bucks contest provide the winner with Santa Bucks, it helps to promote local shopping before the holiday season.
