Torrington, WY March 18th, 2024 — The Torrington Police Department made a Burglary Arrest over the weekend. According to a TPD Facebook post, at approximately 8:15am on Sunday, Torrington Police officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 2800 block of East K Street in Torrington. When officers arrived on scene, they observed a male suspect leaving the area of the victim’s residence and attempted to contact him. The suspect fled on foot and was taken into custody a short distance away.
During this investigation, officers gathered information that indicates the suspect in this case may have been active in this area over the past month. If you live in the northeast part of Torrington and have had a suspicious incident or crime occur on your property, that has not previously been reported, please contact the Police Department at 307-532-7001 and provide us with that information.
If you live in the area of East K Street, where today’s crime occurred, and you have video of the incident that has not already been collected, please call the Police Department at 307-532-7001 and ask to speak with Sgt. Davis or Detective Maestas.
