Memorial services for FRANK H. SAWYER JR, 78, will be held at 11am Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the First Congregational Church with Amato Lobatos officiating. Frank died October 20, 2023 at home in Torrington with his loving family present. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Festival of Hope through Regional West Hospital or Regional West Hospice. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.

Frank was born June 27, 1945 in Boise, Idaho to Frank H. Sawyer Sr and Edna M. Gaunt Sawyer, the third of four children. He grew up in Boise and enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing with his family. He attended school in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1963. He later attended the University of Idaho, earning a degree in electrical engineering in 1969. Frank went to teach school in Okinawa for three years and returned to Idaho where he married Judith Kill in 1971. Their son, Joshua (Jake) was born in 1974. They were later divorced. Frank began working for General Motors in 1981, working as a diesel-electric service engineer and field representative with earth moving equipment and locomotives. His work took him to many different countries around the world, including Chile, Egypt, Botswana and Indonesia. He finished his career working in Morrill, Nebraska, settling in Torrington, Wyoming. In 2012 Frank met the love of his life, Eva Hankins. They were very happy together, and Eva’s family embraced Frank lovingly. Frank and Eva were married December 11, 2019. They were always together, enjoying motorcycling, traveling, and spending time with their family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; her family, his son; and three sisters Mary Church, Francis Byram and Emma Atchley.

No services are planned for LINDA LOUISE KESSLER, 74, who died at her home in LaGrange, Wyoming on October 16, 2023. Cremation has taken place. She was born June 5, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond and Alvina Murphy. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
