Torrington, WY (by Shad Bates) April 16th, 2024 — The Blazer Softball team erased a 10 run deficit to win game 1 of a scheduled double header against Wheatland.  The Trailblazers scored 12 unanswered runs to get the victory and end a 3 game losing streak.

Game 1 of the double header had a 30 minute lightning delay as the dark clouds started to roll in.  Unfortunately, the Blazers were unable to carry their game 1 momentum into a second game as the wonderful Wyoming spring weather forced a cancellation.  The Blazers are now 4-5-1 in their rookie season and look to even their record next Monday against the Cheyenne South Bison, a team that the Blazers beat earlier in the season.
