New Report Shows Marginal Population Growth for Goshen County

Cheyenne, WY April 8th, 2024 — A new report from the Wyoming Economic Analysis Division illustrated marginal population growth for Goshen County. The report looked at population changes in the Cowboy State since 2020.

Goshen County grew by 6 individuals from 12,636 on July 1, 2022 to 12,642 on July 1, 2023. Since 2020, Goshen county has grown from 12,504 to 12,642.

Overall, Wyoming has grown from 576,850 in 2020 to 584,057 in 2023 (1.2%).

The fastest growing county since 2020 in terms of percentage is Lincoln County at 6.6%. The biggest decline in county population since 2020 was found in Niobrara County at -4.7%.
