Torrington, WY March 21st, 2024 — On today’s edition of School Talk, GCSD#1 Superintendent Ryan Kramer congratulated THS Choir members for their performance at the Music Performance Assessment in Casper earlier this week.

“THS Choir participated in the Music Performance Assessment in Casper on Monday and Tuesday of this week, and the results were fantastic,” said Kramer. “Choir Concert received 2 Superior Ratings and the Top Award. Advanced Choir received 2 Superior Ratings and the Top Award. Women’s Choir received 2 Superior Ratings, 2 perfect scores from both judges and also received the Top Award. THS Band also participated in the Music Performance Assessment, and the Concert Band received Superior Ratings from both judges.”

Mr. Kramer also highlighted the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences in the district.

“Trail Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Monday, March 25th and Tuesday, March 26th until 7:30PM,” said Kramer. “Lincoln Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will also be held on March 25th & 26th starting at 3:45PM and going until 7:30PM. LaGrange Parent-Teacher conferences will take place on Tuesday, March 26th until 7:30PM. LFL K12 Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on March 27th until 7:30PM. Southeast Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26th & 27th until 7:30PM.”

Mr. Kramer also mentioned that Juniors will be taking the ACT soon.

“District-wide Junior ACT will take place on March 26th with a start time of 8:00AM. Good luck to our Juniors across the district on taking this assessment. THS Juniors will be offering breakfast at 7:15AM at the THS Commons in preparation for the ACT that morning.”
